Hollywood: HBO Still In The Dark About GOOD Programming
If it's not enough already that we get blasted daily with the blatant sexual content, harsh language and anti-semitic programming, HBO is taking "smut" to a new level. Read the full article HERE from the Media Research Center. HBO will begin airing a new "breakthrough" show, delving into the realm of pornography in "Tell Me You Love Me.” The show will incorporate the personal relationships and sex lives of four committed couples – in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and even in their 60s. Basically, a sexually explicit "Real World."
Jane Alexander, who was once the head of the National Endowment for the Arts during the Clinton Administration stars as the "therapist" for the young couples of this travesty. She also participates in the action by doubling for 1/2 the couple in their 60's.
It's just porn. There's no other description for it. When critics asked if the sex scenes were faked or real, actress Michelle Borth became suddenly defensive. “We are not porn stars. We're actors,” she harrumphed, which is the standard response when the classification of sexually explicit acts on film are questioned. They call it "art." The rest of the intelligent world calls it as they see it, PORN. It's sad really. I actually used to like HBO's programming maaaaaaany years ago.
All the show will be missing is the annoying synthesized music and the laughably horrible acting between sex scenes. We all know what the people who will actually watch this will do anyways. They'll just TiVo the show, and fast forward between scenes.
Which brings us to another problem here. With the "rave reviewed" scenes, will they be garnering awards? Emmy's? Golden Globes, (pardon the pun.)? And how long till this stuff reaches regular, everyday TV? The new frontiers in television usually first emerge on pay-cable, then work their way into regular cable, and then into broadcast television.
So, what does the public have to say about this kinda crap? A LOT! In my previous post HERE, people aren't buying it. Americans ARE catching on to what the media, Hollywood, and certain left-sided groups are doing. And they aren't liking it.

68 percent of Americans say the media have a negative impact on moral values in this country.
73 percent of Americans say the entertainment industry is having a negative impact on moral values in this country.
So there you have it. The beginning of the end of any remotely ethical behavior on TV.
