Just another chapter in this off-season's saga we like to call the Tampa Bay Lightening! It was announced on Friday that Lightening's general manager, Jay Feaster, resigned as Tampa Bay's general manager after 10 years with the organization (6 of which were as GM). On October 9th, the Detroit Red Wings will raise their 11th Stanley Cup Championship Banner when they open their home schedule against Toronto at the Joe Louis Arena. Also, thanks to the leagues new scheduling system, the wings will face a trio of Eastern Conference teams next season which includes playing two games against Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Atlanta.
