Red Wings Raise Banner

On October 9th, the Detroit Red Wings will raise their 11th Stanley Cup Championship Banner when they open their home schedule against Toronto at the Joe Louis Arena. Also, thanks to the leagues new scheduling system, the wings will face a trio of Eastern Conference teams next season which includes playing two games against Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Atlanta. I for one think that the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins will be an exciting rematch of last years Stanley Cup Finals!
