LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a long-term contract extension for general manager Ned Colletti, the team said on Tuesday. Colletti was hired by the Dodgers in November 2005 after serving as vice president and assistant general manager of the San Francisco Giants for nine seasons. "One of our core promises to our fans is championship caliber baseball, year-in and year-out," Dodger owner Frank McCourt said in a statement.
