This is a little piece about Neil Barrett as it has just arrived in my favourite retailer NetClothing. As you can see the first things that they have had in are the denim jeans and the denim shirts. The jeans are incredible, I would almost say Dior incredible, the cut is slim and well tailored and they come with a great little zip pocket on the top of the leg.
The shirt is made from a very light denim and it is finished with lovely pearlesque buttons.

Here at NetClothing we are so excited about the Neil Barrett collection which will be arriving for spring summer 2013. As you can see from these preview shots, the collection is based around the colours navy, burgundy and cream and there is a striped motif running all the way through it.

Hybrid is probably the most efficient and effective word to describe this season's collection. Coming from a long line of naval tailors, Neil Barrett has the cut in his blood. There is always a military precision in the way he creates new hybrids from his influences. Russell Brand got snapped chatting on his phone while out and about in Los Angeles, California over the weekend. He showed off his new tattoo ”LORD, MAKE ME A CHANNEL OF THY PEACE” which is the first line of the Prayer of Saint Francis on his arm. The Twelve Steps version of the prayer appears in Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, an Alcoholics Anonymous book, so I wonder if that’s why he has it tattooed on his arm?
