How can GEM Lifestyle provide residual income? You may have heard of the term passive income, also called residual income, but often are not clear as to exactly what it is. Let’s begin with a short explanation of what residual income is and why it is vital to your financial success. Residual income is income earned on an ongoing basis for effort once done in the past. As you can see from the definition we are describing an exciting concept here. Most of us must continue to work everyday whether it’s a job or your own company in order to earn our income and if we stop working will be left with nothing. Basically we are only living paycheck to paycheck. But what if you could stop working today and still have an income stream coming in? Sounds hard to achieve, but it isn’t.

The most common way people earn residual income is through multi-level marketing or MLM. Another way is through direct sales network marketing companies. These types of companies have been around since the early 1960’s and the main reason for their success is the residual income compensation plans they offer. Here is basically how it works: Entrepreneur 1 starts a new company and sells a product/opportunity to entrepreneur 2. When entrepreneur 2 sells and product/ opportunity to someone else, entrepreneur 1 gets some sort of residual from that transaction(this will vary with each company). Entrepreneur 1 did no work other than the original sale to 2 and still earns effortless income from the sale. This process will continue to repeat and the income from that one original effort will continue. Now if entrepreneur 1 continues to grow this concept with more and more people the possibilities are endless.

So as you can see the concept of building residual income is a very simple one. Anyone with the desire and motivation can easily build a huge residual income stream. Your only challenge is to find a company with a strong and well structured commission plan that pays a good residual. Also it is important to choose a company with future longevity so that you can continue to earn your residual income for a long time to come. And lastly, finding the right TEAM to achieve success is the most important element.
