As much as we love Pixar movies, DreamWorks has really
started to gain ground on their rival. The Shrek movies make up one of
the biggest trilogies ever, even if we've seen diminishing returns each time.
Flushed Away didn't fare so well, but was a
well-written flick that deserved a bigger audience. And this summer,
Kung Fu Panda , while not the technical symphony
that Wall-E is, made more money and might even be a bigger crowd pleaser.

It's a great day! Why? Because you can finally find out why Jack Black was making all those crazy poses at the various premieres of Kung Fu Panda! And you only need 60 seconds to do so. It appears that the film has a classic Kung Fu plot, except with a whole lot more panda butt. (Though, I am a firm believer that butt is a prevalent theme in most Kung Fu films.)

If you haven't seen Kung Fu Panda yet, go out to your neighbourhood video store and rent it. Of course, if you can find a theatre somewhere that miraculously still has it playing go see it there first. I doubt it's still around but you never know. Pandamonium , which will be released June 3, 2011.
Variety reported what has been a no-brainer for
some time: Kung Fu Panda is an animated movie, it's a very good movie,

Jack Black is re-teaming with Kung Fu Panda writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger for an untitled live-action action comedy set up at Universal, according to The Hollywood Reporter .
