New York Fashion Shows

I have been writing a lot about Project Runway and I have kind of neglected to cover the rest of NY Fashion Week. More than anything, I was waiting to see the photos of the show that closed the festivities and one of the most awaited ones: Marc Jacobs. That boy knows how to throw a party and really, for years has been showing some of the most interesting and wearable clothes. For real, all sorts of bloggers were at Bryant Park today taking in the "Project Runway" show and finding out who the final three and fake fourth were. Was J. Harvey? No. Why? Every one knows how much I love and admire Malan Breton and how highly I think of him both as a human being and as a designer. So it is not suprising that I was waiting like a child on xmas eve to see his show for A/W 08 at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. I am so proud of Malan and I could no be happier for all his success.
