Where can I find information regarding cheerleaders?
The Giants do not have a cheerleading squad. They have always felt that the game should be the focus of the day of game presentation.
I heard 25 years ago or so that the Giants were just about to institute a cheerleader squad, but that either during a rehearsal or at their first game, the beauties lifted individual signs that read "O G G I A N T S" or (I can't remember) "G O G A I N T S" and Wellington Mara saw it and fired them on the spot. Any truth to this or is it an urban myth?
