Like we don't have enough to worry about with Russian scholar,Igor Panarin,the dean at Russia's Foreign Ministry,saying Obama will declare martial law this year and the country goes about splitting into 6 regions. AP reported this as a follow-up: Alexei Malashenko, a scholar-in-residence at the Carnegie Moscow Center who did not attend the lecture, told the AP that Russia is the country on the verge of disintegration. We knew this one was coming. Since newspapers and "freedom of the press" have been so closely aligned from the beginning of our nation, it is important that newspapers are never beholding to the government. Newpapers were the traditional watchdogs of our government, and it would be a perfect case of putting "the fox in charge of the hen house". Considering the media bias that exists today, a bail out would only reinforce the liberal allegiance of most papers to the far left side of the democratic party. The middle class, including working professionals , are heading to food banks just to make ends meet. They say it is difficult for people who have been laid off(even those with six figure incomes) to even come through the doors of a food bank and ask for basic necessities. The San Francisco Bay area has been hit especially hard, and single Mothers who have been laid off from work find themselves getting the $50.00 in food each week that grocery stores and the Dept. of Agriculture donate to local areas.
