Nick Cannon Blasts Eminem for Insulting Wife Mariah Carey on New Album

With leaks from Eminem's upcoming album Relapse racing around the Internet, it's giving people a chance to get offended before the album even drops.

Case in point, Nick Cannon. In one of Eminem's latest tracks, "Bagpipes from Baghdad," (which you can hear in the video to the left) he takes on Cannon and his wife Mariah Carey, and Nick is none too pleased.

Sample lyrics include: "I mean I really want you bad ya c-nt / Nick, you had your fun / I come to kick you in your sack of junk."

In response, Cannon wrote a lenghty blog post (which since pulled been off the Internet), in which he blasted Eminem as being both a bit pathetic and maybe kinda racist, saying:
I realized, that this so-called man has just disrespected and slanderized one of the world's most significantly influential artists, one of the most notable BLACK females of our time, the incredibly cherished, globally loved and world-embraced woman of color, Mariah Carey...You sold your little records and made a little bit of change but now you are stepping in the wrong territory. You may have been able to rape and pillage our artform like an old school Caucasian con man and nobody said anything because we respected your talent, but now you've made the ultimate mistake. Cannon also says that Eminem is "still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn't let him get to second base from 8 years ago," and that on the whole, Relapse is Em pining for his glory days, "like when Al Bundy gloats about his High school football prime." Ouch!

Of course, all of this means that more people than ever are checking out "Bagpipes from Baghdad," which means that the song probably had its intended effect.
