According to Wikipedia.org: Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in Hanna, Alberta, in 1995 by Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger and Ryan Vikedal. Their hit single " How You Remind Me " from their third album, Silver Side Up reached the top on the Canadian Singles Chart and the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time, making them the second Canadian band to accomplish this, the first being The Guess Who with " American Woman ".

As far as decades go, the naughties are destined to go down as one of the most depressing in American history. Looking for proof? Of all the rock bands who released albums in the last ten years, Americans bought more copies of Nickelback's records than any other group.
