Charity Rejects Donation from Carla Bruni Nude Photo Sale

Profits from the sale of a nude portrait of former model Carla Bruni (wife of French prime minister Nicolas Sarkozy) has been rejected by a Cambodian charity. Swiss pediatrician Beat Richner, who heads up the children’s medical care group, refused the donation money, which was raised at a Christie’s auction in NYC last week because Cambodians don’t approve of exploiting female flesh for money. The Bruni nude fetched $91,000 at the auction, which also included photos of supermodels Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen. Read more.
