Snooki Met Her New Man on Facebook

Jersey Shore's leading lady Snooki has a new man: a personal trainer named Emilio Masella. The reality star apparently met her 21-year-old new beau last year on Facebook, but they just began dating a few days ago. Thanks, social networking!

Snooki and Emilio Masella (People.com) “We met on Facebook over a year ago,” Masella told People magazine. “We started talking online again before the show even started airing and started hanging out again.”

He said they have a lot in common, and he even thinks they look alike! “I think our features… It’s really weird but we do [look alike]. It’s cute though!” Whatever floats your boat!

Masella seems to be dealing well with all the attention his girlfriend gets over her reality show, but claims it's not the real Snooki that we see on TV. “Honestly, I think that what they show on the show, that’s not really her,” he said. “She’s actually really sweet and down-to-earth but the show makes her look like she’s a crazy party girl. It doesn’t show her other side.”

But, Masella knows all about getting attention for something other than who you are deep down. He said Snooki isn't just in it cuz he's a hottie. “She talks to me for me," he said. "A lot of girls hit on me for how I look, but she actually got to know me.”

If their relationship stands the test of the next few months, there's a chance we'll be seeing Masella on the next season of Jersey Shore. “She already told me she wants me to,” he said about the possibility of making his reality TV debut. “I would want to see her — being away for a month, that’s kind of a long time. I definitely would want to go see her.”
