Nicole Richie (born September 21, 1981) is an American actress, model, socialite, designer, and entrepreneur. The adopted daughter of Lionel Richie, Nicole rose to fame when she co-starred on "The Simple Life" with Paris Hilton. She has two children, Harlow and Sparrow, with Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden. They are currently expecting their second child.

Nicole certainly has grown up since those days. Now she's an expectant mother living in a stable home with rocker dad Joel Madden who spends her time volunteering and attending charity events. Richie showed up at the OmniPeace party on Thursday night to show support for a women's rights campaign in the Congo.
Also in attendance were Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Sheryl Crow, none of whom became inebriated or started making out with the waiter.
