Nicole Richie (born September 21, 1981) is an American actress, model, socialite, designer, and entrepreneur. The adopted daughter of Lionel Richie, Nicole rose to fame when she co-starred on "The Simple Life" with Paris Hilton. She has two children, Harlow and Sparrow, with Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden. They are currently expecting their second child.
Nicole Richie Posts First Pictures of 'Winter Kate' Spring 2010 Collection

Nicole's fans are sure to love the line.Nicole Richie's House of Harlow 1960 jewelry collection was such a success, the former Simple Life star is planning to launch her own clothing line for Spring. Pictures of an upcoming shoe collection leaked onto the internet a few weeks ago, but today, more images from Richie's 'Winter Kate' line made their way onto her website.
Most of the pieces from Richie's collection - 40 in all - are signature Richie Boho. A press release posted on Richie's site reads:
The Spring 2010 collection reflects her love of ethereal flowing clothes: easy to wear, simple, yet romantic and feminine at the same time. They also reflect Nicole’s love of vintage and classic- with a modern ease that allows pieces like the bed jackets and kimonos or shells to be worn with jeans or cocktail dresses. They allow a woman to feel feminine, yet function freely. Check out the rest of the pictures at Nicole Richie's site. The items look cute - but it's the shoes I'm really excited about. The collection will be available come February 2010.
