Nicollette Sheridan (born November 21, 1963) is a British-born American actress. She made her debut in the American soap opera "Paper Dolls" in 1984, but shot to fame when she was cast in CBS' "Knots Landing" in 1986. In 2004, Sheridan joined the cast of "Desperate Housewives" as Edie Britt, who was killed off in February 2009.

Nicollette Sheridan is leaving Desperate Housewives . A rumor leaked to E!’s Marc Malkin that she told the girls, writers and directors during their 2 p.m. table read. Singer Michael Bolton has revealed that he will never find love again like he had with ex-fiancée Nicollette Sheridan.
