Nine Inch Nails

Despite the band recently 'retiring' from live performances and selling off their musical equipment, it appears that more new music from Nine Inch Nails is in the cards after all. Frontman Trent Reznor hinted just as much, and also hinted that fans could see material in 2010 from a new musical project he's involved in as well: "2010 has a number of things planned including new material from Nine Inch Nails and something else that isn't Nine...

Given the band's history with making their music readily available to their fans, Trent Reznor and crew decided to make over 400GB of High Definition footage from their tour for fans to remix. In March 2009, Nine Inch Nails went around the U.S. for the Lights In The Sky Tour and because they somehow could not get a professional capture team for a commercial release, they released 405GB of free raw HD footage from the tours to their fans, allowing them to do what they please with it. Using HD tour footage released online last year, thousands of enterprising Nine Inch Nails fans have spent 12 months creating a massive concert film distributed free via torrents.

Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails finished their final tour (at least for now...) earlier this year, and now Reznor is selling his touring equipment on eBay.
