Edward Nino Hernandez, a man from Colombia, has officially been named the new world’s shortest man by Guinness World Records officials. His reign may be a short one, however – no pun intended.
Hernandez stands a mere 2 feet, 3 inches tall. He inherits the title that was previously held by He Pingping, who died back in March.
As it turns out, Hernandez really is shorter than Pingping was anyway, says Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of the Guinness World Records Book.
