A community portal about Nintendo DS Lite with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: The Nintendo DS Lite is a dual-screen handheld game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It is a slimmer, brighter, sleeker and more lightweight redesign of the earlier Nintendo DS model. It was also designed to be aesthetically sleeker to complement Nintendo's Wii, and to appeal to broader commercial audiences. It was announced on January 26, 2006, more than a month before its first territorial launch in Japan on March 2, 2006 due to overwhelming demand for the original model. It has been released in Japan, Australia, North America, Europe, New Zealand, Singapore, and defined regions in South America.

Interesting Pandora Gaming Device

In a world with two dominant handheld gaming systems, one would think that no other company would dare enter the ring to battle against Nintendo and Sony. Well, there is another competitor. The Pandora handheld gaming system is essentially an ultra small laptop that primarily plays games; or what I would call a Nintendo DS on steroids. The open source device sports a Linux operating system, WiFi connectivity, a high powered processor, two SD card slots for expandable storage, a full QWERTY keypad, typical game controls with two joysticks, the ability to use USB hard drives, and a 4.3" color touchscreen. The device is approximately the size of a Nintendo DS (I'm assuming the original). On to the games portion of the system, which is the main selling point. You will be able to play any and all NES, SNES, Playstation, Sega Saturn, and DS games, through a built in emulator. Now that's what I call a game collection. If the Pandora catches on here in the states, the PSP and DS will have some stiff competition. Though, at a $330 price point, it will most likely be difficult to sell, unless there are more features that have yet to be unveiled. Unfortunately due to my lack of money, I will probably never get to play with one of these, but it would sure be awesome.
