The SsangYong Rexton R-Line is the latest masterpiece from the exclusivist tuner Project Kahn. After last week we saw the Kahn Cosworth 300 Sport , the tuner decided to release another customized SUV. Remember the “ Electric car in every garage ” that Myers Motors promoted earlier this year? Well, they’ve taken another step towards providing a realistic electric vehicle for the masses: the NMG² (a temporary name, more on that in a minute). This car seats two and has the same electric characteristics as its younger NMG cousin, but also some nice improvements. First, it seats two so it’s not as skinny as its earlier counterpart, but that’s an improvement in my book because it’s a big step towards getting people to really think about owning one as more than just a novelty. Drawing crowds has not been a SsangYong forte. In fact, SsangYong's Rodius managed to disperse gathering crowds with the power of a Pontiac Aztek. Apparently, however, SsangYong's stand at the British Motor Show was a collector of people. They were all coming to see this, the SsangYong Rexton R-Line. 22-inch wheels; lowering springs; sports exhaust; and upgraded Nappa leather inside combine to separate the R-Line from its lesser Rexton brethren.
