Photo surfaces of Barack Obama and admitted Ponzi Schemer Norman Hsu

Last week fundraiser Norman Hsu admitted in court to conducting a giant Ponzi Scheme to help top Democrat candidates with their campaigns. Hsu, a Chinese National, in trial pled guilty to the charges, though he is still contesting that he made "illegal campaign contributions."

Hsu made more than $800,000 in campaign contributions to Hillary Clinton's Presidential campaign alone. In court, prosecutors played a gushing tape of her thanking Hsu, (from NBC NY):

"Norman! It's Hillary. What am I going to do with you Norman? You are working so hard for me, I don't know what to say anymore.

"I've never seen anybody who has been more loyal and more effective and really just having greater success supporting someone than you.

"Everywhere I go, you're there. If you're not, you're sending people to be part of my events. You know, we're going to win this campaign, Norman, because you single-handedly are going to make that happen... get some sleep, slow down for a few minutes"

But according to trial transcripts, Hsu made substantial donations to other top Democrats, as well, including: Eddie Rendell, Dianne Feinstein, Bill Richardson, and newly appointed US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York.

It was revealed in 2007, by the Washington Post that Hsu made a $5,000 contribution to Barack Obama, as well. But prosecutors in the trial just released the first known photograph of Obama together with Hsu.

One Pro-Taiwanese foreign news blog has managed to obtain the photo. The grainy shot shows Hsu in an arm lock with Obama at a party, with two unidentified young women. See it at Cristy Li blogspot.
