RezkoWatch Electability 2008: Obama and Edwards together again

Less than 24 hours after Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) trounced Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) by 41 points in the West Virginia primary, former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) is coming forth to endorse Sen. Obama's presidential candidacy on Wednesday evening, May 14, 2008, "in a dramatic attempt by the Obama campaign to answer concerns regarding Obama's appeal to working-class voters, several senior Democratic sources tell ABC News."

Update: One comment found in the blogosphere puts this endorsement in perspective: If Sen. Obama is the presumptive Democratic nominee, and the media has been incessantly beating the drum that Sen. Clinton should drop out because she can't win but is now touting this "helps" Sen. Obama's campaign, why does he need help?
