Barack Obama is not from Chicago

Rough new webad (below) from the McCains that is spooling out now nationwide on TV as well, and just in time for an edgy, crony fundraiser tonight in Chicago, from Lynn Sweet’s blog on the Chicago Sun-Times:

WASHINGTON - Barack Obama returns to Chicago Monday night forhigh-dollar fund-raising. He’s at the Standard Club at 320 S. Plymouth this evening for a reception; chairs donate or raise $28,000; hosts raise at least $10,000.

All is not truthful in Obama land (right, yesterday in Green Bay, WI, enroute to Chicago last night).

The first thing that is not truthful is the first thing that the candidate says in the ad, from one of his many cute TV remarks, “…I’m from Chicago….”

This is a falsehood. Barack Obama is not from Chicago.

Why he is in Chicago, who sent him to the Cook County machine, who has mentored and financed and guided and protected him for the last twenty years, are all critical questions.

And the reason is because he is not from Chicago. Not born, not grew up, not educated, not worked, not even invested in. He is a product of the Cook County Machine, that is true. Why? There are answers. This rough webad raises the flags. Look at the faces. One is missing. Bill Ayers, but Ayers will come along. Another is missing, Louis Farrakhan, but he will come along. Another is missing, Jeremiah Wright, but he will come along

For now, these are the fixers inside Chicago and Springfield: Tony Rezko, Rod Blagojevich, Emil Jones and Bill Daley. The McCains now begun to show their deep oppo. And there is lots more in this drawer.

Chicago Rules: he brings a knife, you bring a gun.
