Report: Pirates Offer Octavio Dotel Contract, Closer Job Not bad. Can't say I prefer him to Joel Hanrahan (although they are close), but I think he is worth a flier for the 9th inning because of the strikeout numbers for sure. UPDATE by Charlie: I like this idea too, if true. Keep in mind that this is just a statement from an anonymous source at this point, and take it with a grain of salt until it's confirmed elsewhere.
