Olivia Wilde has been gaining a higher profile of late and is frequently appearing in celebrity and showbiz stories after a fairly quiet few years as an actress.

The latest bit of celeb news about Olivia Wilde is a bit of tittle tattle that Hollywood babe Megan Fox sees her as a woman she could "have a relationship with".

In fact, Fox thinks Wilde is so sexy she makes her want to 'strangle a mountain ox with her bare hands'.

So who is this Olivia Wilde?? She is really named Olivia Cockburn and she was born in New York City to an Irish father.

In fact Wilde has dual citizenship between the United States and Ireland and admits that as a result of her parents' careers, she has a "strong journalistic streak", being "really critical and analytical".

She has appeared in a number of film and television parts, including her roles on the series The O.C., The Black Donnellys, and, more recently and most famously, medical drama House. Her film biography includes The Girl Next Door, Alpha Dog, Conversations with Other Women and Turistas.

With her stunning good looks Olivia Wilde was recently ranked number 61 on Maxim magazine's Hot 100 and also made it onto the FHM 100 Sexiest Women of list. Wilde has also modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch.
