The cycling competition at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics will be held from August 9 to August 23 at the Laoshan Velodrome, Laoshan Mountain Bike Course, Laoshan BMX Field and the Beijing Cycling Road Course.
Taylor Phinney is competing right now in the Men's Individual Pursuit at the Velodrome in Beijing. This kid is only 18 years old, but he seriously rocks. Although he didn't medal (bummer); keep your ears and eyes open for this kid in future major cycling events, including the Tour de France. Right about now the four United States cyclists who arrived in Beijing Wednesday wearing black masks, must be kicking themselves.
