Women boxers may make their debut 2012 Olympics London, Aug.13 (ANI): Women's boxing may have been legal in Britain for only 11 years, but on Friday, it could move a major step closer to being part of the 2012 London Olympics. Jay L. Kriegel, who was the head of the 2012 Olympic bid committee and now works for Related Companies, a property developer, said in a statement that the bid helped New York, even though the city did not win the Games. Chinese sports officials struck a deal to bring the Olympics to Beijing, promising to support Jacques Rogge's bid to head the International Olympic Committee in return for European backing for Beijing's bid, according to a recently released memoir.
