Olympic Gymnastics
Olympic gymnastics is usually a fan favorite at the Summer Games. Check out pictures and articles from past and present Olympic gymnastic competitions.
Gymnastics is competed in by both women and men in the Olympics. There are three categories that competitors participate in. Artistic includes events such as floor and pommel horse, rhythmic includes events such as ribbon dancing and is competed in by only women and trampoline is the last group, competed in by individuals only.Artistic
14 sets of medals are awarded, events are scored individually, but tehre is a team all-around. A country may enter up to 6 men and 6 women athletes, qualification is based on the results of the 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
