Olympic hopeful Shayla Worley broke her leg Friday, ending any chances of her competing in the Beijing Olympic games. Worley was warming up for the Olympic selection camp when she broke her right fibula right below the knee. Her leg had been bothering her earlier in the day, but she chose to participate. 1976 Olypmian Nadia Comenic is looking refreshed these days. Her once wizened face, looks plump and useful. Her lazy left eye looks like it has been corrected as well. Her teeth are looking brighter than ever (veneers, perhaps?) Nadia looks better than she has in year. She no longer looks excessively worn and tired.

I stayed up until 1:30 am, knowing I had to get up at 6 am. It was well worth it. My heart raced and pounded as these beautiful, talented, super phenom’s Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson won the USA all-around gymnastics Gold and Silver. I couldn’t be prouder.
