Olympic Handball

The handball competition at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics will be held from August 9 to August 24 at the National Indoor Stadium.



Handball is competed in by teams of both men and women at the Olympics. To qualify, a country may enter up to one men's and one women's team. The teams are divided into groups, and the best teams from each group go on to the quarter finals, semi finals and then to the medal rounds.
