Greece defeated China 9-8 Friday to win first gold medal in women’s water polo at the world aquatic championships.
The host country, pulled within a goal with 90 seconds left, and drive a lot of play in the final minute before losing the ball in front of the Greek port, with the winners playing the final 15 seconds.
Earlier, Olga Belyaeva scored three goals in Russia defeated Italy 8-7 in the bronze medal.
