Samhan offers his personal thoughts on playing in the tournament in a video posted Wednesday. He says he had personal conversations with former St Mary's players Todd Golden and Ian O'Leary to reflect on how special it is to make it to the NCAA championship tournament.
"Sometimes when you're in the moment you lose sight of how special things are," he explains. "So it's hard for me because I'm getting ready for a game. So it's hard for me to reflect on how special this time is because I need to keep looking forward to the game."
Samhan is also active on Twitter and admitted shortly before the tournament: "Time change is killlin me!" Oh and for the record, Samhan notes on his most recent video, "God is a Gael." It's always good to have the most powerful force in the universe rooting for you, right?
