This was a comment receieved on a previous article, but it seemed worthy of it's own post:"Ona Munson connects with the actor, Edward J. Pawley, in a rather distant way. She played the role of "Lorelei Kilbourne", sidekick of "Steve Wilson" on radio's Big TOWN drama series. She played that role from 1940-1942 opposite Edward G. Ona Munson committed suicide in 1955

In 1955, Ona Munson committed suicide at the age of 51 with a drug overdose in her apartment in New York.  She was suffering from "bad health" at the time.  The suicide note found next to her deathbed read: "This is the only way I know to be free again...Please don't follow me."Read Full Story
