One Jew, One Story

In April of 2007, David Akinin, Joel Wiznitzer and Alex Arabov, undertook the challenge of making their first Veteran-based documentary. Previously, David Akinin and Alex Arabov had been recognized in the CAJE Miami Jewish Film Festival, for two years in a row, producing short-films based on yearly topics. David Akinin, Joel Wiznitzer and Alex Arabov, won first place in Miami-Dade's Group Documentary competition at the National History Day competition in May 2007. Later, they were awarded, Best Miami Dade project overall in the State conference.
