Bon Temps-bound Joe Manganiello is making a little pit stop in Tree Hill. “One Tree Hill” is going retro in an up-coming episode. According to Warner Bros., rock band Cheap Trick will be in town this week to film an episode of the Wilmington-made TV drama. The band will perform during a 1980s-themed benefit to raise money for Tree Hill High arts programs.  

One Tree Hill fans, mark your calendars! In case you you're not aware, the CW drama returns for the rest of its seventh season on Monday, January 18. And it looks like the show is gearing up for something big, in spite of its not so "cliffhangery" mid-season finale that seemingly wrapped up the series.  

"One Tree Hill" left us last week with the grisly image of Alex killing herself. This week, it opens with a big "just kidding!"Julian goes to see Alex and discovers her in the bathtub. Will Nathan and Haley really move to Barcelona? What will happen to Alex? Will Clay save the day and win back Nathan? We won't know for sure but The CW has released a short promo trailer for the upcoming episode of One Tree Hill which will hopefully give us some clues.
