Women get behind the wheel of empowerment. CarTango.com

Here is a statement you rarely hear. “Kids behave yourself. Mommy will be back in a little while, she’s out buying a car.”

So my curiosity strikes me. Women generally have words like sale, coupon, and clearance embedded in their DNA. When it comes to a bargain, I can usually count on a woman to find a much greater deal than I ever could. In addition, women account for the majority of all purchases in North America, including 85% of automobiles. (ref. Sun Times)

So why is it that women run into trouble with things like negotiating a starting salary, and bargaining down a shifty eyed car salesman ? Women also receive unfair treatment when sending their vehicle in for repairs, and are usually over charged for the same work a man would receive on the same automobile. Somehow, over the course of modern-evolution the automotive industry has become a mans world.

However, a new website empowers women to shop for automobiles, while maintaining their deal-hunter status. The site, CarTango.com, provides all the tools for women to arrive at their destination: Bargain Street. On the site women can …

    1. Accurately determine which vehicle best suits their needs and personality
    2. Locate the perfect car via new and used inventory listings
    3. Anonymously communicate with dealers about vehicles they have for sale
    4. And, when ready, invite dealerships to compete for their business

This means you won’t be called every day by dealerships. You won’t have to do the legwork of finding the best prices, and you will be in a new vehicle where no stress comes as a standard option. If your an auto searching female, check out CarTango.com, and leave the rest up to them.

My thoughts. Great concept. Extremely helpful. Changing pen-name to Wendy.
