While vacationing on the Oregon coast last week, we spent a lot of time visiting small towns along the Oregon coast. While driving to Newport, we spotted a turnoff to the Yaquina Head lighthouse. My mother was with us and is a big fan of lighthouses, so it was a must to make a visit. The Yaquina Head Lighthouse was built in 1873 and is in a beautiful setting.
