Oregon State University, the home of the Beavers, is a university in Corvallis, Oregon. They offer undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees, as well as research opportunities. It is one of 73 current land-grant universities currently operating throughout the world, and is also recognized as a sea-grant, space-grant and sun-grant institution. Making it one of two (the other is Cornell) universities to receive all four designations.
Third-year OSU interior design student Teressa Hartley received a unique opportunity this past summer to apply her knowledge and education to improve the OSU campus. Hartley was hired by OSU as the project manager for the redesign of an MU conference room that is now known as the Pan-Afrikan Sankofa Conference Room.
