The Chicago Bears waived tackle Orlando Pace after one season in which the 34-year-old played little like the All-Pro he once was with St. Louis. The Bears also waived tight end Fontel Mines and guard Tyler Reed on Monday. The Bears continue to look for ways to upgrade their O-line, as today they had a talk with former Rams tackle Orlando Pace. NFL.com’s Steve Wyche reported of the meeting today. Pace has already had a meeting with the Ravens, but left the team without a contract. The release of Pace saved the Rams $6 mil in cap space.
