Ozzy Osbourne's Dog Eaten By a Coyote

Ozzy Osbourne's beloved Pomeranian, whom the family called Little Bit, was attacked near the Osbournes' LA mansion Tuesday. The details aren't totally clear, but according to the Sun, Ozzy and Sharon were so closely tuned in to the Michael Jackson memorial on TV that they couldn't hear the dog yelping outside. The rocker's daughter Kelly revealed, "He is devastated - she was his other woman."

Not so tough for a man who gained fame for biting the head off a live dove. One friend even joked that the Little Bit tragedy was "revenge" for Ozzy's treatment of other animals:
Maybe the coyote was friends with the dove's family? So many people are linked in Hollywood.

Luckily, the Osbournes still have 18 dogs at home to devote their attention to.

But the coyote dangers remain very real, according to Los Angeles authorities, who have issued safety guidelines for pet owners. The Department of Animal Services cautioned: "Wild animals are opportunistic, and coyotes fit this mould very well."

From another Osbourne pal: "Maybe it was Wile E Coyote - mind you, he never caught the Road Runner."
