P90X Review Day 63: Rest

From:  p90x-review.com
Sorry for the late P90X post. This past week was lots of exams to study for, so while although I’ve kept up with the P90X workouts I have not had time to write my posts. On this day I rested I believe. . . . . Read Full Story

P90X Review Day 22: I know it’s Yoga but I still gotta yell

From:  p90x-review.com
Ahhh, my all time favorite P90X workout . I get to do Yoga X twice during this rest week. I am excited for that. I really think that the Yoga has been a big contributor to all the great results I’ve received from the P90X . Strength, flexibility, and balance all in one great package. I always feel absolutely great after this workout. It is true that Tony makes yoga very palatable. As much as I am into eastern religion and yoga type stuff Tony’s no frills approach is great. It is not trying... Read Full Story

P90X Review Day 20: Mule Kickin’ fun

From:  p90x-review.com
Kenpo X is a nice fun break from the normal ass-kicking intensity of the P90X . I haven’t done it in two weeks because last week I did 3 hours of team sports instead. That meant that the workout was fresh for me because I had forgotten most of the moves. I had a lot of fun again and it made me start thinking about taking up some type of martial arts. I was just talking to my friend who did a mixed martial arts boot camp this summer. He said it was amazing, that you learn strength... Read Full Story

P90X Review Day 18: Expand your mind a little bit here people

From:  p90x-review.com
Again, this is my favorite P90X workout . This workout really makes you sweat, and it weird because you are barely moving your body, it is as if you soul is sweating. :-). That is the amazing thing about Yoga is that you don’t feel like it should be giving you a workout, but by holding all the yoga poses you are really challenging your body in a totally new way. Normally we are used to the fast movements of weight training or plyometrics, but yoga is a whole new ball game. I think that why... Read Full Story

P90X Review Day 44: Swing dance and raquetball substitute

From:  p90x-review.com
So I know a recent theme has been me getting bored and modifying the P90X workout. Well bare with me for one more day. I know I told you I was gonna do both Plyometrics and Raquetball today. Well then I forgot that I also had my swing dance lessons tonight as well. Swing dance does make me sweat. If I did Plyo I would have killed myself. I hope Tony doesn’t come out of the TV and yell at me. Also, I am gonna need more tactics to stay motivated. I know that playing my own music has been a... Read Full Story

P90X Review Day 42: Legs on a Sunday!?

From:  p90x-review.com
In case you didn’t get the memo: I skipped Friday and moved the Legs and Back workout to today. I must say that this workout is becoming on of my favorites. None of the exercises repeat and they are challenging without being demoralizing. Some of the arm exercises, like the one arm push ups don’t give you much confidence. Also, my legs are generally stronger so perhaps that makes things easier. I have gotten much much better with the wall squats. They used to kill me but now I can handle... Read Full Story

P90X Review Day 47: Last Resistance workout for a week

From:  p90x-review.com
So today was the last resistance workout until Phase III of the P90X starts. Next week is a rest week in the P90X, which means that you take away the resistance workouts and do more Yoga, Core Synergistics, Kenpo X, etc. I have two observation. One, I need to find a way to install a pull-up bar in my dorm room. Many people have been asking if the P90X Chin Up Bar is something they should get. I say yes absolutely! — if you have a doorway that can hold it. All my doorways have no wall space... Read Full Story

P90X Review Day 48: Plyo kicks Kenpo’s Butt

From:  p90x-review.com
Today I decide to do Plyometrics instead of Kenpo X. Plyometrics is really the ultimate of the P90X workouts. It is impressive if you can get through this one alive. I think the reason why its so hard is because you don’t set your own reps and weights, instead everyone has to bring it at the same level. Also, there is no real way to significantly modify the moves. I really felt like kicking my butt and getting a real good sweat going. You can tell just by the photos what days I do... Read Full Story
