The latest Playstation Portable revision, the PSP-3000, has everything the older PSPs had but now includes a built-in microphone, which lets you take advantage of voice features in some games as well as the PSP’s built-in Skype functionality without having to use a headset. The new PSP-3000 also includes an improved anti-reflective screen that offers higher contrast and clearer visibility in well-lit places and can even be used outdoors.

Pros
Gaming is great, screen is big enough to watch a movie, WiFi browsing is decent for airport or hotel hotspots, doesn’t tie you up with any specific media manager.

Cons
Sony really needs to upgrade the flash and java support, so that they can run faster. That way people can play flash games on the go. So, if you’re not a new/casual gamer and/or portable hobbyist, stick with the old PSPs. At least you can get home brew apps and other cool expandable options with custom firmware.

Overall
All-in-all, money well spent on the console. I recommend this to anyone, any age, who would like have mobility but still be able to play their Madden etc. as well as get bit more out of the console with video pod cast downloads over the air or a music player or a ‘OK’ web browser or location free client or whatever.
