Palmyra Island or Palmyra Atoll is an island located south of the Hawaiian Islands, between Hawaii and American Samoa. It's coastline consists of a large lagoon that encompasses a reef, two more shallow lagoons and around 50 sand and reef-rock islets and bars covered with vegetation. It is an incorporated territory of the United States.
PALMYRA - The Palmyra Area school board is exploring a policy that would allow students who earn enough credits to leave high school early.
Palmyra Area High School Principal David Jones said Thursday night there was potential for some students to finish all of the credits required for graduation by the first semester of 2011.
