From 2007 through the 2010 season, Carlos Pena manned the first-base spot for the Tampa Bay Rays. After a year off to play with the Cubs, he's back. A source told ESPN.com that, as of today, Pena has agreed to a one-year deal with the Rays worth $7.25 million.  

For anyone that has had Pena as a first baseman in fantasy baseball, they know all-too-well how Pena can go weeks with no home runs and plenty of strikeouts. Then he has a breakout week or two where he seems to hit everything out of the ballpark.
