According to Wikipedia: Paola Rey is a Colombian actress best known as Jimena Elizondo Acevedo in Pasión de Gavilanes and Juliana Soler/Maritza Ferrer in La Mujer En El Espejo. Co-starring with her in these two telenovelas is Juan Alfonso Baptista. She was studying industrial engineering at the Universidad de Sabana before she started acting. In 1996 she tried out for a role in the Telenovela Fuego Verde and was surprised when she landed a role. She decided to quit her studies and pursue acting.
