Rapper Remy Ma , whose real name is Remy Smith, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for shooting a woman outside a nightclub in Manhattan. The New York state Supreme Court handed the sentence down Tuesday to the 26-year-old rapper, for assault, weapon possession and attempted coercion.
