So I'm caught up on Heroes... Paranormal Activity was kind of lame. It was realistic enough to be uhh... realistic... but no plot. The direction was predictable. Especially to anyone versed in both horror movies and real life malevalent hauntings.

Is this really any surprise? Variety is reporting Oren Peli's Area 51 , his latest exercise in the "found footage" format, is going to be distributed by Paramount Pictures.
The studio is also responsible for releasing Paranormal Activity this fall.
Peli's latest tells of three teens who break into the titular base that supposedly houses a UFO. Shooting wrapped three weeks ago with unknowns Reid Warner, Darrin Bragg and Ben Rovner...
