Paris Hilton Gets Herself a Pig

The heiress posted to her Twitter Friday afternoon, "So excited for my new piglette to come home to me. I just picked out the cutest piggy from Patty at Royaldandie.”

Paris Hilton's newest pet, the tiny pig Miss Pigelette. (twitpic.com) Her new porcine pal will be a Royal Dandie piglet, billed as the world's smallest pot bellied pig. They grow up to be an average of 30 to 40 pounds, developed through years of breeding smaller and smaller pot bellied pigs.

Paris has a thing for pets in general. At one point she was reported to have 17 different dogs, including the famous Chihuahua Tinkerbell. For a time, she was also seen out and about with a pet ferret, as well sporting a a pet kinkajou named Baby Luv.

The pig will be raised for another six to eight weeks, before being delivered to Hilton's home in Los Angeles. She seems to be leaning towards calling the tiny porker Miss Piglette. We can't wait to see her out on the red carpet!
