Olympic Skater Pasha Grishuk Drugged With GHB

Pasha%20Grishuk%20Drugged.jpg Pasha Grishuk, a former Olympic figure skater, was meeting businesspersons at a St. Regis hotel in Orange County when she began to feel a bit weezy. During dinner, the former Olympian noticed a small, partially dissolved pill in her drink--revealed to be GHB (or the 'date rape' drug)--and began to feel sick. We would dismiss her symptoms as a mere reaction to the overwhelming sense of supremacy in Orange County that induces nausea, but the pills found in a second drink tell another story.
Investigators later found another pill in the bottom of a drink she ordered in the hotel's lounge, he said. Toxicology tests that came back today were positive for GHB. It wasn't immediately known how the pills got in Grishuk's drinks or who put them there, Amormino said. "How somebody was able to do that, I honestly don't know, but it appears that somebody, for whatever reason, attempted to drug her," he said.
Somebody? It was the guy with the loafers, a Tommy Bahama shirt, waxed chest and 20 inch biceps. Case. Solved. Former Olympic skater Grishuk drugged with GHB [AP] Image [TSN]
